During the winter months my husband plays on a disc golf league that tours the region. This year the team needs new shirts and he had a vision that he asked me to paint.
A spoonwood is a mountain laurel, which is native to the area and flourishes on the home course. The painting is watercolor and colored pencil on watercolor paper. If the team is happy with the design, hopefully it ends up on t-shirts this fall.
