I have not taken very many commissions in this very busy year, but here is one that I have recently finished and can share with you now that it has been delivered to the client.
A watercolor portrait of a family home, framed by snow in the owner’s favorite way. Unlike most of my real-estate commissions, this painting is not to commemorate a move, but to celebrate a home very much still-loved.
Watercolor and a little colored pencil on cold-press arches watercolor paper, 9×12 inches. Painted from a reference photograph provided by the owner over the course of a particularly hot summer. It was a lot of fun to paint and I think I can now say, real-estate commissions are open for 2023.
