The hardscaping theme continues with another one of Jake’s creations! After building the garage a beautiful garden walkway, we couldn’t simply store our trash barrels in front of it like we used to. A stylish path requires stylish trash. To dress up our disposables, Jake built us a fancy trash shed.
I want to say it’s constructed out of 2x4s and plywood, with the sides and back being grooved plywood to look like planks. Now, when sitting on the porch or patio, you see a cute little wooden box instead of three barrels.
The trash shed even makes the covered porch feel more enclosed and like another room. Going forward, we may put a little greenhouse on top or at least some shallow planters to dress it up even further.
