I finished another painting! And it’s another animal skull!
It is a 12×16″ inch original watercolor painting of a giant pheasant skull. Matted to 11×14″ and framed to 14×18″. The frame is much more beautiful in person. My iPhone does not do the image justice photographing through the glass, but you can see a high-resolution scan of the finished piece in my portfolio gallery on this site. In that scan, you can really see all the subtle color shifts and brush strokes that don’t come across here. At the time of this posting, this painting does not yet have a home. This piece sells for $300, frame included.
