Last Friday night while we were on an evening stroll Jake and I spotted two free chairs on the side of the road in great condition. We snatched those up to refinish them to go with our tiny kitchen table. Here’s the chair before:
After $3.30 in fabric, $6.00 in paint, and a sunny afternoon, we had this:
First Jake removed the cushions
While Jake was cleaning the chairs, I reupholstered the cushions with a black polka-dot cotton
The dots don’t show well in photos, but they soften the black and add interesting detail.
Jake did all the spray painting while I picked up sticks in the yard.
Really, Jake did most of the work on these, but using that stapler was no easy task.
Now we have almost matching chairs to go with our tiny table!
