Hats! Hats! Hats for all the children!
This Christmas is all homemade hats courtesy of my new sewing machine, and my need to learn how to use it.
Jake has a LOT of nieces and nephews, and they’re all getting hats. Fun fleece hats made with anti-pill blizzard fleece from Joann’s.
I made them in 4 sizes: big kid, middle kid, little kids, and one itty bitty infant hat.
I used a “stretch knit” edging stitch on my wicked cool new sewing machine on the seams, and a zigzag stitch to turn the bottom under.
Jake cut out all the patterns, and I sewed them up.
Sew so many hats. They’re so easy to make. I used a basic, multi-size pattern here, and added a little more to the bottoms to make a wider cuff.
Merry Hatmas.
