So I’ve made a couple of changes to the homepage and how I will be adding news to the site. From now on, (unless people don’t like it) the RSS feed from this blog will appear automatically as the “latest news” on the homepage of the main site. Updates will be seen at little blurbs on the side of the page with a link to the full text at the end. This set up allows me to bring the main art gallery higher up on the page and draw attention to this blog at the same time.
In addition to the changes on the site, I have added a new illustration to the main art gallery and the illustration page. It is a picture of a crystal ball and the hands that wield it, done at 9×12 on a 11×14 piece of white drawing paper. I used graphite pencils to make the drawing and it took about fours days work to complete. The smoke was very challenging and came out a little stylized, but that may work fine with the super-natural theme of the piece.
Next week is Spring break for me so I will be working on a lot of side projects including cosplay. I’m so excited!
