Next Friday and Saturday evening at 7:30, I will be performing in the play “The Vagina Monologues,” written by Eve Ensler, and Directed by Joy Correia and Amanda Hiles, to help raise money for battered men and women.
The show is taking place at the University of Hartford, in Aurbach Auditorium. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for students (I THINK). I’m pretty sure. Again, the show starts at 7:30, NEXT Friday and Saturday night. February 26th, and 27th.
I don’t have much acting experience at all, but thankfully my role does not require me to take on the personality of a specific character. My job is to introduce the show with an introductory monologue, performed with two other women, and to introduce two monologues during the show. But I still have to be entertaining, right?
