My weekend in the Adirondack Mountains was amazing! I have been sulking all week because I wish I was still out on the water and enjoying the fresh air. But its work time now and I have had a very busy week unpacking, implementing all the things I learned as assistant administrator of the MFA program at the University of Hartford, and preparing for my studio open house on August 4th. (My studio is located at #527, 122 Western Ave, Lowell, Ma.)
I have made several changes to the website so far, the biggest of which is the redesigning of the Services Section. I hope you find the landing page to be a lot more interesting look at, and easier to navigate. The sub-pages of the services section have also gotten several facelifts with new pictures and content. I have updated the standard contract, my resume, and am preparing to add several new pages!
The first two new additions you can see right on the services page: I am now take costume and wig commissions, as well as offering private drawing lessons, and free portfolio advice for students looking to apply to art schools. Those pages will be up in the next few days.
I am also working on a new studio page, but I can’t decide which section of the website it should go under. Or should it have its own section? The studio page will have location info, directions, hours, and give a little tour of the facilities. If you have any thoughts on where this page should go, please leave your suggestions in the comments. Thanks!
