Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw your own manga? Are you a young artist age 9 & up? Well you are in luck, because I have been hired to teach a how-to-draw manga three day workshop at Artworks in2shades, located at 11 Salem St, Medford, MA 02155. The workshop runs August 7th, 8th, & 9th from 1-4pm, and cost $120 for the whole three days.
I am working on the details of the curriculum as we speak! Students will learn how to draw the popular style of anime and manga, while also learning some general principles of design which will help them in all of their art-making endeavors going forward. We will cover the foundations of drawing using pencil, but students will also get to make a finished project using watercolors, pen & ink, markers, or all three!
